Pour augmenter d'un point au milieu d'un rang au crochet tunisien, une variante du point tunisien plein (ptpl) est le point tunisien plein modifié (ptpl mod).
A variant of the Tunisian full stitch (Tfs) increase, the modified Tunisian full stitch (mod Tfs) is another easy option to make an increase in the middle of a row.
Le concept: passer le crochet sous le brin supérieur ET le brin arrière de la chaînette de rang retour entre 2 barres verticales, faire 1 jeté et tirer 1 boucle. Bref, faire 1 ptpl mod entre 2 autres points.
How to proceed? Insert hook under the top front loop AND the back bump of the return pass chain in between 2 vertical bars, yarn over and pull up a loop.

L'augmentation avec le ptpl mod se combine avec n'importe quel point de base, même le ptpl.
You can use the mod Tfs increase with any basic stitch, even the Tfs.

For the sample here below, the Tfs is systematically made at the same place in each row, i.e. after 2 Tunisian simple stitches (Tss).

Juste pour comparer, la photo ci-dessous montre une augmentation faite à chaque rang avec le ptpl (en-dessous) et le ptpl mod (au-dessus). La différence est subtile, mais elle est bien là.
Just for the sake of comparing both types of increase, the photo here below shows increases made with the Tfs (bottom) and with the mod Tfs (top). The difference is not huge, but noticeable all the same.
