Un point de base au crochet tunisien se définit par l'endroit où est insérer le crochet pour monter une boucle.
A basic Tunisian crochet stitch is identified by the place where the hook is inserted to pick up a loop.
Au crochet tunisien, il n'est pas possible de faire 2 fois le même point au même endroit. Faire 2 points tunisiens simples (pts) sous la même barre verticale avant, cela ne fait pas une augmentation. Pourquoi? Parce que chaque boucle relevée sur le crochet reste ouverte jusqu'à celle qu'elle soit fermée au rang retour suivant.
Par contre, il est tout à fait possible de réaliser 2 points différents dans le même point du rang précédent.
In Tunisian crochet, it is not possible to pick up 2 loops in the same place. Try to make 2 Tunisian simple stitches (Tss) under the same front vertical bar. You'll see it does not make an increase, you will not get 2 distinct loops. This is due to the mechanics of Tunisian crochet: you pick up a loop and this loops remain "open" until you "close" it when working the next return pass.
On the other hand, you can pick up 2 loops in the same stitch from the previous row by inserting your hook in different places in this same stitch. In other words, by working 2 different stitches in the same stitch.

L'augmentation est faite en travaillant un point tunisien tricot (ptt) toujours au même endroit pour chaque rang, soit dans la 3ème maille en plus du pts. Ce qui change, c'est l'ordre dans lequel les 2 points sont réalisés dans la même maille.
The increase is made by working 1 Tunisian knit stitch (Tks), always in the same place, i.e. in the 3rd stitch of each row in addition to the Tss. What changes is the order in which the 2 stitches are picked up in the same stitch.
